Case studies
The reference build, and the pilots in flight.
We are the first customer of our own product. The reference build is the search firm that funded the Index. Five design-partner pilots are scoped, contracted, and publishing through Q3 2026.

From 30 minutes of sourcing per candidate to 90 seconds.
The problem. A recruiter, working a typical AmLaw partner search, was burning 30 to 40 minutes per candidate stitching together four tools. A directory for the resume. A job board for the openings. A relationship CRM for firm history. A manual web search to confirm the candidate had not just changed firms. By the time the outreach went out, half the data was stale and the reasoning behind the email was implicit, not auditable.
The build. We pulled all four streams onto one graph and refreshed it nightly. We added a candidate-match engine that scored every active resume against every open requisition and ranked them by fit. We pointed outbound at the index directly, so every email could cite a specific opening, a specific peer move, and a specific reason the candidate fit. The recruiter's job changed from data assembly to judgment calls.
The result. Sourcing time per candidate dropped from 30 minutes to 90 seconds. Templated outbound became tailored outbound, and reply rate moved from category baseline to 3.4 times that baseline. Year to date: 28 placements, $1.84M in placement fees, 412 candidate replies a week, 192 times return on platform spend. The system went from internal tool to product when adjacent buyers, the funders, the BD teams, the trade press, started asking for access to the same graph. That is when the Index became a product.
